Atwood Art Room

Many parents have asked me where their child can get some MORE art experiences. I love that parents want to give their children more art opportunities!!!! Here is my recommendation:

The Atwood Art Room

The Atwood Art Room is run by two MMSD art teachers (one that just left teaching to do this full time and one that is part time art, part Atwood Art Room). They are both awesome art teachers! They also allow other art teachers to teach a class there every once in awhile. Over the summer, I taught a class creating art from recycled materials. It was a blast!!

I am hoping to teach a class on book binding on Fridays 4:15-5:30pm through this session. The books can be used for your own personal sketchbook or scrapbook or whatever else your imagination desires!! If you have a child interested in learning book binding from me, please email me at kcwalsh@madison.k12.wi.us.

Their next session starts in November. Check out this site more information.
