Student Artist Spotlight: Tony

“I start to concentrate and begin to draw and a character appears on my page.”  -Tony, 4th gr Randall Student

Tony was a 3rd grader at Randall last year and this year is part of the LEAP program as well as a 4th grader at Randall.  He is a very talented artist.  He has not been part of his class’ art experiences this year and therefore has been meeting with me for an hour alone each week.  (He can’t live without art!!)  He has been working very hard on putting together his first solo art show.  (date and location TBA)

Here is Tony, hard at work:

And here is a preview of his work!

He has been experimenting with pen and ink, painting, graphite and clay.  I love watching his characters transform from media to media!  Watch for an update on where and when Tony’s show will be.
